Fish Fillets in Garlic Butter

Ingredients:

For the fish:

  • 4 (150 grams each) pomfret fillets

  • 1 tablespoon white pepper powder

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • salt to taste
     

For the garlic butter

  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped

For the garnish

  • 4 sprigs of parsley

Method :

  • Preheat the microwave using the oven + grill option at 220°(440°F) for 4 minutes.

  • Marinate the fish fillets with the lemon juice, salt and white pepper.

  • Apply the melted buffer on either sides of each fillet and place on the crusty plate.

  • Using the grill + oven option, bake for 8 minutes at 220°C (440°F), turning over once after 4 minutes.

For the garlic butter

  • In a microwave safe bowl, microwave the buffer at 100% for 1 minute.

  • Add the chopped garlic and microwave at 100% for 2 minutes or till the garlic turns golden brown.

How to proceed

  • Pour a teaspoon of the garlic buffer over each fillet and serve immediately, garnished with the parsley sprigs.
